Not every incident resolves to a single root cause, and some causes cannot be proven after the fact. Where that happens we say so, and focus on reducing the chance of a repeat.

Safe infrastructure access
Giving an outside engineer access to production is a real risk. These are the practices we hold ourselves to. They are working practices, not a certification.
- —Least-privilege access. We ask for the narrowest access that lets the work happen, and for it to be revoked afterwards.
- —Credentials handled through your password manager or vault. Not email, not chat.
- —Change approval before anything that affects production, with the expected impact stated first.
- —Backup or snapshot before a major change, where the platform allows it.
- —Controlled remote access — named accounts, no shared logins, session details recorded.
- —Written record of what was changed, when, and by whom, so your own audit can follow it.
We do not currently hold ISO, SOC 2, PCI or any other security accreditation, and do not claim to.
Enterprise habits, at the size you actually need
The working practices come from running Linux and virtualization infrastructure inside large enterprise environments. Change control, documented runbooks, tested restores.
